“2015 New Year Bliss” – celebrating the coming Chinese New Year, KKlabs partners with C+ Culture, aiming to rock Dadaocheng with mobile campaign. Based on KKlabs’s cloud software service and MyBeacon from Aplix, the leading IT company in Japan, the campaign plans to bring the most of creativity from local cultural industries, with support from prestigious shops such as Lee Cake, Tian-Shan Groceries, Lin Fong-Yi Trading House and many others.
Before becoming the main port to Japan and south-east Asia during the Japanese rule, Dadaocheng had been the cultural and economic center of Taiwan since 1851. Although no longer in its prime time, Dadaocheng still plays an important role nowadays in Taipei as one of the busiest shopping area with historical attractions. The New Year campaign is not merely a frenzy of high-end technology show, but a cultural event that allows creative thinking to add new charm to an old town with careful context design and hardware-software integration.
From February 2nd, Dadaocheng’s New Year Shopping Street is ready for an iBeacon mobile game. Visitors can trigger the game play at 5 URS (Urban Regeneration Station) points via iBeacon in the area. Once they finish the challenge on their mobile, they can visit the end check point of the game at the building “URS155 Tuan Yuan Together” to take the prize. Additionally, visitors can play the bonus game to draw a digital “Lot of New Year” on mobile at Tuan Yuan. The lot also tells clues for visitors to find the lucky shop in Dadaocheng in 2015. Meanwhile in the venue, visitors can see the broadcasting of all results and on-going lot-games on the monitor screen, having fun with the multi-screen interactivity.
KKlabs, an official Apple iBeacon licensee, presents SPOT beacon solution in both hard- and software products, which enables proximity marketing, indoor navigation and interactive campaign for stores, exhibition halls, and fairs instantly. Through beacon services, users will increase the purchase or enjoy the stay with location-aware content, targeted messages, and multimedia information.
